Donations

The Trenton Care & Share Food Bank accepts all kinds of donations from anyone generous enough to give. As always, there are certain food items we see more often than others and to that end we’ve compiled a list of most needed items as well as the requirements an item must pass to be an acceptable donation.

Most Needed Foods

  • Pasta products & rice
  • Canned meats and fish
  • Dry & canned soups and stews
  • Canned fruit & vegetables
  • Breakfast cereal
  • Peanut butter
  • Canned/powdered milk
  • Fruit juices
  • Pasta sauce
  • Beans
  • Baby food

Donation Requirements

  • Un-opened non perishable items
  • Labels present
  • No dents on packaging

Donations Can Be Made In Person At:

All monetary donations are tax receiptable.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

To drop off donations outside of these hours, please call to make arrangements.

Donations can be made online at CanadaHelps.org. 
Please note that Canada Helps will deduct up to 4% off your donation to cover their own administrative costs.
