Care & Share Food Bank’s Annual Food Drive, which traditionally takes place each fall, has been postponed until further notice. After careful consideration, the Board of Care & Share Food Bank in Trenton has decided to forgo our usual door-to-door collection of non-perishable food donations in order to protect the health and well-being of our volunteers.

For those who still wish to support the food bank this fall, other donation opportunities are available. In accordance with the recommendations provided by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health, we encourage monetary donations instead of food donations. Monetary donations can be made via e-transfer, through our website, by mail or at the food bank in person.

For those who still wish to donate non-perishable food products, they can be taken to our drop-off locations in Trenton: Freshco, Metro and Smylie’s Independent. You can also bring food products directly to Care & Share Food Bank on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
